2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used strictly to enhance your experience and fulfill your orders:
- To process and deliver your orders, generate invoices, and print shipping waybills.
- To communicate with you regarding order confirmations, shipping updates (Tracking IDs), and customer support responses.
- To synchronize your shopping cart across devices and save your default delivery preferences.
- To verify deliverability to your area using your Pincode.
3. Secure Payment Processing
We use Razorpay as our secure payment gateway for all online transactions (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, NetBanking). Poondi Foods does not collect, store, or process your raw financial data or credit card numbers on our servers. All payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Razorpay in compliance with strict industry security standards.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your personal data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Authentication). We implement strict, rule-based access controls to protect your privacy:
- Customer Privacy: Our database security rules strictly dictate that you can only view, edit, or access your own personal profile and order history.
- Admin Access (RBAC): Only authorized Poondi Foods personnel (Super Admins, Managers, and Support staff) have access to customer orders and CRM data, strictly for fulfillment and customer service purposes.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share necessary data with trusted service providers to fulfill our services:
- Delivery Partners: Your name, address, and phone number are shared with our logistics partners to ensure the physical delivery of your packages.
- Google/Firebase: For secure database hosting and authentication services.
- Razorpay: For secure payment routing.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser local storage temporarily to save your shopping cart items before you log in (poondiCart), and secure authentication tokens to keep you logged securely into your account. You can clear these at any time by logging out or clearing your browser data.
