Welcome to Poondi Foods. By accessing our website, creating an account, or purchasing our traditional foods, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

Poondi Foods prepares 100% natural, homemade products using traditional methods. As explicitly stated across our platform, our products are currently Not FSSAI Certified. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that you are buying homemade goods prepared without industrial preservatives.
1. User Accounts & Registration
- Valid Email Requirement: To create an account, you must use a standard, valid email provider (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook). We strictly prohibit the use of disposable or temporary email addresses.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We use secure Google Firebase Authentication to protect your data.
- Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to bypass our security rules, or engage in fraudulent ordering behavior.
2. Orders, Pricing, and Payments
- Pricing & Taxes: All prices listed on the site are subject to change without notice. Applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax) and a flat shipping rate are calculated at checkout.
- Payment Methods: We accept online payments securely via Razorpay (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, NetBanking) and Cash on Delivery (COD).
- COD Rounding Rule: For Cash on Delivery orders, the final payable amount is mathematically rounded up to the nearest whole Rupee for cash exchange convenience.
- Order Confirmation: An order is only confirmed once accepted by our admin team. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, unserviceable pincodes, or out-of-stock variants.
3. Store Availability
Poondi Foods operates a dynamic storefront. We reserve the right to toggle the storefront offline (halting new orders) at any time for maintenance, inventory restocking, or operational reasons without prior notice.
4. Promotional Coupons
From time to time, we may issue discount coupons (Flat value or Variable/Lottery discounts). Coupons:
- Are subject to expiry dates and cannot be used once expired.
- Are calculated based on the subtotal amount (before shipping and additional charges).
- Can be revoked or invalidated by Poondi Foods at any time without notice.
5. Cancellations & Returns
Orders can only be cancelled by the user while in the "Pending" status. Mixing cancellable and non-cancellable items in the same checkout cart is strictly prohibited. For complete details, please refer to our dedicated Cancellation Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to the Poondi Foods logo, text, graphics, product images, and code (HTML/CSS/JS), is the property of Poondi Foods and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our assets without explicit written permission.
